Canceled return order due to inclement weather

I purchased an item which ended up being fake. Mercari approved return and provided a USPS shipping label. I shipped the item within the provided time frame, and due to inclement weather conditions beyond my control, Mercari canceled the return, because USPS had not yet picked up the item since they were closed. Now I am out the money for the item and the item itself. Theres no one to talk to on the phone and the tickets you put in for help, are not very helpful. I even provided proof of when I drop the item off and somehow that was not sufficient enough.

i sold a phone to someone on Mercari and they falsely claimed they received a pack of batteries. so they returned them. i tracked the phone to the city the buyer lives in - Mercari told me i would get seller protection when the package was returned to me. when i got the package, they denied my claim - i am out the one and $209 and there's nothing i can do about it

Customer service is horrible, item was delivered to me but tracking is not showing delivery so I can't rate seller to complete transaction. Tried to go thru help section to see how to inform them the item has been delivered but no options anywhere, tried to contact them thru help center but it has no options for this issue and no live agents. The seller should be pissed!!!

Preferred solution: An option for showing when an item has been delivered so the buyer can complete the transaction, I have the item and I'm satisfied but item is showing out for delivery and I can't rate the seller. It needs to be fixed

Two canceled orders in as many weeks

I am looking for a specific camera. Twice in the past two weeks I have purchased (I thought) the camera, only to receive a few days later from Mercari a "canceled order" notification with full refund. This is so bogus. If Mercari would do a better job filtering out scammy sellers, perhaps this wouldn't be happening so often. They make eBay look good, something I thought I'd never say.

Lack of Communcation very bad!

I believe J.P. (Mercari), you're making a big mistake in handling my account!

The problem is that your client sent the package by UPS and when I tried to get help from Mercari, the response from your team was not helpful. I also contacted UPS and tried to file a claim on the package. UPS told me to refer to the sender. So then again, I contacted Mercari by email and It seem like I was getting nowhere.

So, I contacted Citi Card which I paid for the Item and told them what happened and it seems that your team is not being very helpful and also, I don't know what happened to the Item that I purchased. But I never received it. I will contact my Citi Card today and show all the response that I have had with Mercari proving that I tried to do everything in my power to resolve this matter. I also contacted UPS again but they will not let me know what happens with the claim.

Which is not helpful to me, do you think I would go through this much trouble over an Item that should have been secure in a better package. The biggest problem that I have with Mercari is the lack of communication and their support there's no contact phone number to talk to anyone, so you can see my frustration. What is also very irritating is that I keep contacting you to find out what is happening with my account and you don't seem to know the full scope of what happened. Respectfully yours Steven Sarabia

We have received a payment dispute from a credit/debit card which is associated with your Mercari account. Disputes usually indicate an issue with the payment card or possible unauthorized use, and often cause a financial loss to Mercari.

Upon review, we have limited the use of your Mercari account and will be permanently closing it once all of your transactions have completed.

When all your transactions and Direct Deposits are completed, your Mercari account will be closed and any new linked accounts will be closed as well.

To appeal this decision, please cancel any and all disputes that you have filed against Mercari with your financial institution. Then, in your reply to this message, please attach proof of the dispute cancellation.
