Complete dissatisfaction with customer service.
Made an online purchase using PayPal. Received confirmation of payment from PayPal and credit card charge but never received confirmation of purchase from Mercari or seller.
Repeated email attempts to resolve the issue failed. Mercari responded that they could not find the transaction without an Item ID that they never provided to me.
Final email exchange from Mercari was relatively nasty. Not a good company to do business with.

No contact from Mercari...over 70 emails to customer service, email to corporate office in Japan, got legal advice, and sent letter to corporate office in Palo Alto CA. Today..I am at a loss, I was a good seller and was rated highly..
Received broken merchandise. Asked for a return refund.
Have 55 messages, they denied it, said I waited too long (next day).
Filed a contest with Visa. They locked my account, I dropped the Visa issue, sent a copy, but they still won't open my account for use or give me the $400 earned.

I was trying to buy two items from a seller out of my shopping cart. It ended up purchasing everything from my shopping cart from different sellers.
Preferred solution: My money back from the items that were purchased from the cart that should not have been purchased. I was only trying to buy from one seller.

I made a purchase for some Timberland boots, but the seller canceled for some reason. Consequently, I had to reorder.
I was refunded for the first order, but not for the second one. I had canceled the second order due to shipping delays and wasn't refunded for that one.

I have loved Mercari for years. This last issue was one simple dress ordered.
It was received in a timely manner, but the post office marked it as delivered when actually, I only received a postage due sticker of $30.80. I refused the order. It was accidental shipping on the seller's end. The seller was very apologetic.
The package was shipped back to her. Mercari seems incompetent in reading very detailed messages and refunding me the $7.50 for the item, plus fees. Like, how hard is it? It's been several weeks now.
Just refund and close the case. Gracious.

I purchased a pair of Valentino Flats, Item ID# m146*****. I contacted the seller prior to purchasing and was told they were hardly worn, however when I received the shoes, the logo on the left shoe was completely detached.
I contacted their chat representatives three times and was told that if I wanted to speak to someone, I would have to pay a refundable $1.00 charge, however when I went to pay, it was charging me $47.00 the first two time and $39.00 the third time I tried. THIS IS TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ABSOLUTLY RIDICULOUS!!!

Id like to keep the shoes, but would like a partial refund in order to pay to have them repaired.
Ive asked Mercari to respond as to my best course of action, or I will leave a negative review for the seller, and Mercaris terrible customer service practices.
YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY TO GET CUSTOMER SUPPORT, ESPECIALLY SINCE IM THE ONE HAVING TO PAY FOR SERVICE FEES FOR LISTING ITEMS!!!

I'm having issues with withdrawing funds from my account. I've spoken with some representatives online via chat and they told me it was on my bank's end.
I spoke with my bank and there's no issue there.
I tried to call this number, but nobody answers and it clicks off. I would surely like to speak with someone regarding my issue.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology.
The seller sent me the wrong trackball mouse. It was shipped from Santa Rosa, California. The mouse he sent me is nothing like any of the photos shown for purchase.
