Preferred solution: My money back from the items that were purchased from the cart that should not have been purchased. I was only trying to buy from one seller.

I made a purchase for some Timberland boots, but the seller canceled for some reason. Consequently, I had to reorder.

I was refunded for the first order, but not for the second one. I had canceled the second order due to shipping delays and wasn't refunded for that one.

I have loved Mercari for years. This last issue was one simple dress ordered.

It was received in a timely manner, but the post office marked it as delivered when actually, I only received a postage due sticker of $30.80. I refused the order. It was accidental shipping on the seller's end. The seller was very apologetic.

The package was shipped back to her. Mercari seems incompetent in reading very detailed messages and refunding me the $7.50 for the item, plus fees. Like, how hard is it? It's been several weeks now.

Just refund and close the case. Gracious.

I purchased a pair of Valentino Flats, Item ID# m146*****. I contacted the seller prior to purchasing and was told they were hardly worn, however when I received the shoes, the logo on the left shoe was completely detached.

I contacted their chat representatives three times and was told that if I wanted to speak to someone, I would have to pay a refundable $1.00 charge, however when I went to pay, it was charging me $47.00 the first two time and $39.00 the third time I tried. THIS IS TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ABSOLUTLY RIDICULOUS!!!

Attached is a photo of the damage to the shoes.

Id like to keep the shoes, but would like a partial refund in order to pay to have them repaired.

Ive asked Mercari to respond as to my best course of action, or I will leave a negative review for the seller, and Mercaris terrible customer service practices.

YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY TO GET CUSTOMER SUPPORT, ESPECIALLY SINCE IM THE ONE HAVING TO PAY FOR SERVICE FEES FOR LISTING ITEMS!!!

Can't withdraw funds

I'm having issues with withdrawing funds from my account. I've spoken with some representatives online via chat and they told me it was on my bank's end.

I spoke with my bank and there's no issue there.

I tried to call this number, but nobody answers and it clicks off. I would surely like to speak with someone regarding my issue.

The seller sent me the wrong trackball mouse. It was shipped from Santa Rosa, California. The mouse he sent me is nothing like any of the photos shown for purchase.

I purchased a doll n silk dress for 197$ total never received the product reached out to seller she said reach out to Mercari they said reach out to seller 3 days later Mercari replies we cannot refund u we rated seller n payed her so no money no merchandise in between i made countless calls n emails which i have all n dated but they refused to refund me n seller cleaned her hands of every got away with the money

Mercari.. beware shopper!

Mercari sided with the seller when I was clearly in the right when they read all the messages between me and the seller. Mercari has done this before, and sellers too; I'll never shop with them again!

eBay always stands by their customers, and Poshmark can be somewhat like Mercari as well, but not as bad. But I don't have money to just throw away because someone decided to rip me off, and I'm sure most people would agree.

I bought something for my child and the app sent me a message that my purchase was received on 9/20, but I received another message from the app stating that it arrived on the 17th but I never received the package. I'm trying to reach the company to find a solution but they never respond.

They expected a rating so that the seller could get the money, but I can't rate something I never received. I need a refund and I'm trying to reach them but they are not responding to me.

Scammers

I was trying to sell a coat using Mercari. As soon as I posted the item, someone offered to buy it through Mercari, but their payment kept getting declined.

I was under the impression that I did not have a cash balance to make the transaction happen.

Later, I received an email informing me that I needed to set up an Apple Pay Cash app or use Zelle with a balance of $250, or else the sale would not be made. I received numerous text messages.

I sold a pair of Patriots boots and Patriots jacket valued over $200 the shipping was late bc of the time of year. The lady put in a request for cancelation and instead of checking to see when it would be delivered they canceled it. The delivery was delivered 5 hours after cancelation and I shown them proof it was delivered

I paid the vendor, printed a label, and never mailed it. I kept looking, as this was a Christmas gift for my grandson.

My daughter said that she received the coat. I marked it as received, then found out that it was a completely different order that she had received.
