I purchased a Verizon Zen tablet from a Mercari dealer and when it was received I opened the mailing packet to find the screen was badly cracked. When I immediately notified Mercari of the problem, took the required photographs of the packaging and damage, I thought this was proof enough.

WRONG! They sent me another email 8-30-2018, asking me to take more pictures of the front, back, and sides and to include a photo of some non-existant number on the tablet along with another photo of the packaging.

Well, this occurred just prior to the Labor Day weekend. On Tuesday, Sept. 4th, 2018 I received notification that the claim was denied and the seller was paid, case closed.

I was out of town for Labor Day and didn't get home until late evening Sept.

4th. Talk about a failure by design?!!

Product or Service Mentioned: Asus Tablet.

Reason of review: Problem with delivery.

Monetary Loss: $32.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

I didn't like: The, Companys ethics is below par.
