Months ago I tried to purchase an item. Immediately was denied access to buy or sell, with no given reason.

May I please have an explanation for being denied.

I am currently a Poshmark Ambassador and have zero complaints for buying or selling. Thank You Annnette Pagano

I Recently experience, the same, the seller ask me to cancel then told she/he will send the next da but the item wss cancelled. Now the ite is for sale with a cost in shipping. I tried to buy it but was blocked. Plus I can not find a way to communicate with mercari about seller " AmyBunny" changing her/his mind to charge shipping.

How do I know exactly when I will get rating from Mercari?

I know it's 3 days but when does it start and stop? Does it count the day it was delivered?

The reason I ask is after I sold this item I looked at ratings of buyer and he is known for not rating sellers and tries to do dune game to get extension or find a way out of it for whatever reason. He has not responded to any messages I've sent. The messages were not pertaining to rating or anything about his ratings.

So it was delivered the morning if the 23rd did that mean 23rd, 24th and then today Mercari rates me? Or how does that work?

The countdown begins the moment you are notified that the item was received. They have 72 hours to rate you. If they fail to rate or contact you then you can ask mercari to rate for the buyer.

I have a coupon of twenty dollars off but I would like to know how to apply it to my purchase.$20. $$$

Hi Ana! I’m a somewhat recent Mercari member and actually used a few coupons I had recently which was very easy. Mercari will automatically apply the coupons you have available for you, making them visible even when you are just browsing. They are usually under the list price in the Mercari blue color, in bold, and read something like “Grab it today for $xx” Or “Get it for $xx with coupon” You mention you have a coupon for $20. As an example, I’m going to assume your coupon is for “$20 OFF a purchase price of $25 or more.” Note that the $25 does NOT include a shipping cost. So you might have come across an item listed for $18 plus $7.50 shipping. The coupon discount will not be listed as it doesn’t apply. Hope that helps! Happy Shopping! JD

What does it mean when a transaction is denied?

I accepted an offer but it said transaction denied? What does this mean? Am I obligated to go through with the sale as I have someone else offering.

According to the Mercari help section, a transaction can be denied in the following cases:
  • you do not have enough balance in your account;
  • the information you provided might be incorrect or incomplete;
  • your bank might be blocking the transaction.

You may contact your bank to confirm your purchase or try using PayPal or a different card.

Where is my missing chargers jersey?

On 3/13/21 I bought a ladainian Tomlinson chargers jersey I have not received it yet the status says shipping still it has been passed been a whole week no one has contacted me yet I reached out to the seller he hasn’t reached out to me yet as well.

According to the Mercari help section, most orders are shipped within 3-4 business days. If they can’t locate the package and there hasn’t been a tracking update for 7 or more days, you can request a refund from the Order Status page.

How to get sale completed

I have an item posted for sale on my account and have a buyer who’s claimed he tried purchasing several times and didn’t work. Said he got an email, saying to email Macari ASAP.

According to the Mercari help center, the company does not release payment until the item is delivered and the buyer confirms it is as specified.
If you are not satisfied with the received item, you may request a full refund within 3 days of receipt of the item. The refund usually takes 5-10 business days. However, It may take up to 30 days for the funds to appear back in your account.

Why cant I use my own card

Daughter uses my card for purchasing so Now I cant use it for a purchase???

You will need to link a different card to each account. That is how it works for our family. You may want to try to take card off daughter's account so you can use your own and get daughter a debit card. Just a suggestion.

Seller accepted return. What do I do on my end

I purchased a basketball card on mercari. The card was delivered but the card is a reprint with no value.

He accepted my return request and said I had to accept return on my end. What do I do? I want my money back.

Can’t Mercari just send him a return shipping label so he can ship it back. Please help the seller and me the buyer are getting no where with no response from mercari

According to Mercari return policy they will provide you with a prepaid and addressed shipping label to return the item to the seller. They will refund you to the original form of payment or issue Mercari Credits once the tracking confirms the item has been returned to the seller. All returns must go through Mercari. How can I get my refund?

I bought an item and it said it was a game, and when I bought it and got an email saying it was shipping to my place it said it was the case only not the game. I just bought a Nintendo switch and need games, why I am going to buy a case?

Especially pay 18 dollars?

The seller must have changed the name and bought it put it back that it was case, I got ripped off coz when I try return the product it say it's not refundable, so I got lied about the product, I can get free cases I have a ton of that, so hope can help me so get money back, April 7 is when I bought this so called game. Please I want my money back is not what I need.

According to Mercari Help Center, you should submit a return request within 3 days of confirmed delivery. All sales are final 3 days after delivery or after buyer rates the seller.
An item is eligible for a return or refund if it meets one of the following conditions:
  • Item is not as described;
  • There is undisclosed damage to the item;
  • Seller has not shipped the item;
  • Incorrect/missing item.

If you received an item that wasn’t as described in the listing, you should provide the Mercari customer support representatives with 4 clear pictures of the front, back, and sides of the item as well as the packaging and any other items shipped in the package. You should also provide an explanation of why you are returning the item.
Refunds are issued in the original form of payment or in Mercari Credit.

I'm trying to return a bracelet that one of the stones fell out 2mins after I received it. I notified the seller and she was wonderful, said to just send it back. The problem is Mecari is giving me a hard time. It wont send me to the request refund form. Can anyone help?

According to Mercari FAQs, Mercari prepaid label is preferred by most sellers. The company offers fixed rates with USPS or FedEx for packages weighing up to 150 lbs -- with the longest side not exceeding 45” and the second-longest side not exceeding 20”. The carrier may charge you an additional handling fee up to $90 for any package over 45”.

How to change delivery address.

My shipping address and my delivery address are different. We are canceling our PO box and I need to change my address to my home address so when I receive packages, they will come to my house and NOT to a PO box that I don't have access to.

I cannot find an answer anywhere. If someone could PLEASE help, it would be much appreciated.

According to the Mercari Help Center, once the item is sold, you can’t change any of the shipping options unless the order is cancelled. You may message the seller to discuss the issue with your delivery address.
Please note that to protect your privacy, the seller is unable to view your delivery information in the app once the transaction has been completed.

According to Mercari FAQs, the coupons are applied at the moment of purchase. You have to tap “Coupons” on the checkout screen to select which one to apply.

Seller did not respond to my offer. What do I do next? I want to buy the item, but I am afraid to if she didn't even respond to my offer that she won't ship it.
