I have a complaint about an item I shipped. You decided to rule in his favor. He clearly states that he found this cheaper in his messages. No customer should be dictating to a buyer on how much I should sell my goods for. Second, he lied and falsely accused me of it not being new and the size. Also claiming if I were to give back almost all his money he would keep the product. Thats stealing, hes admitting that he likes it but doesnt want it for that price. Cause he can find it cheaper. Please review the messages for item number m133******** Also, no other site would have given his money back with measurements on the picture. So he knew exactly the size of product. I would like to talk to management promptly

I ordered a cologne from this seller, who seems to have good reviews. When I received the parcel there was a totally different product (some unknown brand neck firming creme) seems to be very old. It seemed very fraudulent seller and I immediately went to Mercari website to return the product. But their website requires picture of the product and whenever I uploaded and submit the return request, it gives me an error message saying "unable to contact API". Meanwhile, their website asks my latest government ID photos, and after I submit they still did not confirm. Their contact customer service has no other way to contact them and can't find any phone numbers except from this site. After I reset this issue, I will delete their app and will not deal with them ever. Meanwhile, I have two days left to review the seller and I can't even contact their customer service. Fraudulent people are everywhere nowadays.

I made a sale. The buyer claimed there were issues with the item. I tried to reach out to Mercari to put a hault to the return. Mercari approved the return without getting back to me. The buyer returned a totally different item, Mercari allowed the return and closed the case after I made multiple attempts to provide proof and stop the process. The item was sold for $1400 and the buyer kept the original item and I was not paid any money. Mercari allowed the buyer to scam me.

I brought a second hand Microscope from Mercari, I found it is broken when I received it. I contacted the buyer but it didn't help. And then I contacted Mercari for help with photo as proof. Because for one time, I didn't respond in 24 hours limit which I don't know and Clark didn't tell me know beforehand, Clark closed and pass the transaction. Are accepting a broken product and a lost of money the cost a buyer needs to pay for not replying a single message slightly longer than 24 hours? Is there any alternative solutions? I asked them those questions. Their response is repeatedly: I know that is not the outcome you want, but according to their policy, there is no way to change it... If you are lucky to buy from a good seller, everything should be fine. But for irresponsible sellers, you are in trouble. More importantly, the ratio of irresponsible sellers are increasing on Mercari because of their policy... and don't believe the five stars rating on Mercari because 72 hours window passed by easily during a negotiation. After that window, their system give a five star automatically.

Buyer ripped me off & Mercari refused to provide me with insurance protection without looking at my packing photos. A buyer purchased one of my listings. All sales are supposed to be final on Mercari "Per Mercari rules" unless a Seller is willing to approve a cancelation. A buyer agrees to a "Commit to purchase" during checkout. When the buyer requested a cancelation, I already had their label printed and I shipped the item. I took step by step photos of the packing process (7 of them). The package had $15 in packing materials to ensure safe travel. If the box was thrown against a brick wall, the item still could not have been damaged! I also had No Returns plainly stated in the listing. The buyer got angry that I didn't cancel the order. So, per Mercari rules, the only way that a buyer can force a seller into a return and ultimately a refund is if the item is damaged in transit. No way it could have got damaged because of how secure it was packaged. The buyer broke a piece off of the item and then filed the damaged in transit with Mercari. They submitted photos that you can plainly see that the broken piece was most likely a screwdriver tapped with a hammer to break the piece off. AND not all of my packing materials are shown in the photos to make it look like insufficient packing. Mercari, without asking or viewing my packing photos, approved the return AND messaged me that I do not qualify for insurance due to insufficient packaging, ALL WITHOUT REVIEWING MY PHOTOS! After a nightmare of a search, I found a phone number to contact them, just to get a message that live support is not available in my area!!! I was plainly and blatantly ripped off by a angry customer and Mercari is leaving me with a broken, unsellable, unreturnable, very expensive item, all without looking at my own packing photos. No answer to emails, no live customer support. I am furious. This is straight up fraud!!! Even my reviews show buyer after buyer praising my good packaging. But Mercari obviously does not care about their sellers side as they blatantly allowed me to be ripped off without even giving me a chance to show the proof that this person was doing just that, ripping me off.

Customer ordered radio said it wasnt working. You guys agreed that it wasnt working sent it back when I got it. I took it out of the box and I connected a battery to it. Its turned on I push all the buttons. It worked fine I hooked up a speaker to it connected my phone to it because I dont have an antenna so I could hook up a phone to it via Bluetooth which does work also played Pandora because it does have a Pandora feature and it worked fine. Customer lied, saying that it did not work and then it was garbage and I feel that since I made a sale that he shouldnt have returned it and you shouldve listen to me when I said, I just removed it from the stereo and it was working then. How am I going to get compensated for the fact that the customer lied and you believe him over me after I said it was working %
